April Lane School’s Wildcats Program is a partnership between Yuba City Unified School District, and the State of California designed to offer our students a safe environment for after school study and enrichment.
Snack Time: Snacks will be served to all students that participate in the after school program. Snacks are nutritional and are furnished by the District free of charge. If your student has food allergies or special requirements please speak to the office.
The April Lane Wildcat’s Program offers homework assistance and enrichment activities to the students of April Lane.
Homework class: This class is for students in 1st – 5th grades. This is a quiet place for students to get supervised homework assistance before participating in the enrichment program.
Intervention: Intervention is offered to students that may require extra attention academically, and are usually referred by their teacher, counselor or the after school teacher. We offer two intervention sessions (6 student max per session) provided by our in-house specialist.
Enrichment: Courses will be held from 4:15-5:15 pm daily. Your children will be engaged while learning new skills.
Science/technology, arts & crafts, computers, physical education, and nutrition are just a few of the classes that will be available. In addition, your child will have the opportunity to enroll in special courses. These courses will include Zumba, dance, team sports, self-defense, and other areas of study.
