A look at how April Lane is integrating technology into the lives of each and every student to prepare them for the world of today as well as tomorrow
The April Lane School staff is committed to integrating technology in our classrooms. All computers at the school have access to the internet. Each classroom is equipped with either a mounted or portable video projector and each teacher has a laptop computer. These computers and projectors work together to allow each teacher the ability to present lessons in a power point format. In addition, smartboards have been added to the 4th and 5th grade classrooms and it our goal to equip each classroom on campus with a smartboard by June 2010. In July 2007 the computer lab was updated with 35 new HP computers. Students in all grade levels visit the lab as part of their curriculum.

We are working with the Yuba City Unified School District Technology committee to develop school-wide standards for each grade level. April Lane students have experience in basic computer operations, keyboarding, Internet, and word processing.
